4Very functional, but too big...  Jan 26, 2011
By K. Hadzima
I love this product! I was so happy to find a nice bra to use as nursing and pumping. Not only was I able to pump hands-free at work, but I could also pump one side and feed from the other without trying to juggle the breast shield and the baby at the same time. I highly recommend for functionality.

The reason for only four stars is that the sizing leaves much to be desired. I was a DD, and I only purchased a D. I was trying to follow the advice of the other reviewers. The D was way too big for me too. In other nursing bras, I wore a DD, but this one in a D was ginormous! I think that it is so much bigger because of the extra material that is in the bra, they really should resize these bras so that we can purchase one that fits.

5exclusive pumper  Apr 19, 2012

We recently found out why my first two children have a cleft palate(not lip, just the roof of the mouth), we have a genetic condition that runs in the family. what that means for me now in my 3rd and final pregnancy is that this baby has a 50% chance of inheriting this condition as well, ultrasounds have been unclear but it is seeming like this baby also has the genetic condition.

the reason i am explaining this is because, this bra isn't the most comfortable, if you are nursing and occasionally pumping you could probably do better (like medela's option). But for me I have to pump exclusively, i don't want to take off my bra every time to put on medelas contraption, this is perfect for my needs.

now for the size I am ready to deliver in the next couple of weeks, other people said this bra runs big, so i ordered this bra in the size i am fitting NOW (not the pre-pregnancy size)and i am positive this will do very well. It has a little extra room but when my milk comes in i will need it. So if you are already breast feeding try 1 cup size smaller than what you are currently buying.

1Didn't fit  Jul 01, 2011

This was the worst product I've ever bought. I bought it for convenience but when I got it, it didn't fit at all. I ended up going out and buying a Medela one (which I should of done in the first place) and ended up spending more money. Now it just sits in my drawer.

2Not for the larger sized  May 30, 2011

Had to return this product. Although it came in a larger size, the amount of support underneath was inadequate and would not allow me to comfortably wear this at work all day in order to also be able to pump.

1There are better products out there  Jan 02, 2011

This really isn't a great product. It has three main functions, all of which have issues.

1. As a bra: it bunches out in the middle creating a strange point when you bring your arms together.

2. As a nursing bra: nursing pads do not stick to the material and fall out when you nurse. Also, you have to unhook the outer cup and the pumping layer in order to nurse. This is a bad design as to pump you're going to have to unhook the pumping layer anyway to insert the cup. It is way too difficult to hold a baby and try and unhook all those layers.

3. As a pumping bra: when you unhook the outer cup, the bra is way to loose to support a bottle. I thought about trying to tighten it up by sewing the inner layers, but that seemed like a lot of work for something that may or may not pay off. Also, with this type of bra, I'm not sure where a nursing pad is suppose to go. If you put it inside of the nursing portion, then you have to take it out to pump.

What I ended up doing was cutting out the pumping layer of this bra and using it as just a nursing bra, which still has issues. If you are looking for hands free pumping, I've had good luck so far with PumpEase Hands Free Pumping Support for Nursing Mothers.
