I LOVED this product. But when I found it was not available at Amazon I searched on the web for it and found Isabelt instead. Do NOT confuse the two. Amazon's Invisibelt is much wider and much thicker which gives a better more comfortable fit as opposed to the Isabelt which is thinner and very flimsy. The Isabelt site makes it difficult to calculate the width of the belt so I assumed that it was the same width as the Invisibelt...it is NOT and nowhere on the site does it say the width ...only that it is slim (but so is the other belt). When reporting this to the company I was greeted by a VERY pushy lady who only wanted to sell her product. If you want the Invisibelt it can be found at http://www.invisibelt.com it is 20% off for Christmas 2008. It lays very flat with no bulk, very comfortable and secure. Fantastic when you want a slim silhouette. No bulky buckle. Great customer service too!

I am thin (size 4) and bought this product because the waistline of pants often has a gap and needs tightening. I found the belt to be stiff and it needs to be adjusted prior to wearing for each pair of pants. It does create a bulge from the point of adjustment which will be there unless you are able to wear the belt fully extended. One way to help this problem somewhat is to wear the belt inside out.

I had an invisibelt that I purchased years ago. It WAS undetectable under clothing, the perfect material to conform to your shape, easy to adjust, fit in ALL the beltloops of my pants and didn't smell. Unfortunately, last year it broke, and since I loved that belt SO much, I wanted to get another one to replace it. I had read the reviews on how this product was not the same as the old ones, and lots of people gave it a negative review. I don't usually go by what other people say, and because I loved my Invisibelt so much I took a chance purchased not 1, but 2 new invisibelts. I should have listened to the reviews. What a dissapointment! This is NOT like my old one. The material is a very stiff, smelly plastic that takes a long time to conform to your shape after you adjust it, adjusting it is very difficult, and the closure and adjustment thing both show under your clothes, so you not only have one lump like a normal belt, but two! One in front and one in back. Nice. The plastic gives off a strange chemical smell when it heats up from your body heat. I always wonder if other people can smell it too-it's THAT strong and after wearing it for about a year, it hasn't faded. This new belt doesn't even fit in all my belt loops anymore. It's too wide! I hate it, but didn't feel like returning it and I have two of them now. This belt is junk. Why did they have to ruin a good thing??? Don't buy this belt if you had one of the original Invisibelts. It's not invisible...not at all. If I could give it negative stars I would. It's not even worth one star. I've owned it for a while now and wear it everyday because I paid so much for it and it's my only belt, but everyday I think to my self how crummy this belt is. It just stinks...in so many ways.

I purchased this belt to hold up my jeans without the bulge my regular leather belt usually gives me. This belt does work as advertised - once adjusted correctly, it is far slimmer than the leather belts I have though it's not completely smooth underneath my shirts since the clasp and adjustment buckle could not possibly be completely flat. However, there is one really large negative about this belt - the way it smells. The plastic just has a horrible odor that has not gone away even after wearing it and letting it "air out" outside of its package for two weeks now. The smell is so strong that I worried that people would think it was me that smelled. Hopefully it will fade with time. I'm not wearing it as often as I would if it had no odor.

I recently purchased the Invisibelt and am very happy with it! I bought the extra large version as I am currently about a size 16 women's. This belt has solved the problem of having a big bulge as promised and makes my waistline look smoothe by holding my pants in place and preventing their waistline from rolling over.
I was worried that I would be limited by the extra large size, but it adjusts all the way to the buckle to make it as small as possible. I have recently lost 30 lbs. and keep having to make it smaller; I would definately recommend adjusting it before you put it on, in order to assure a correct fit and prevent any wear or damage from pulling on it. That isn't to say that this product is flimsy, it's not. It is well made, I'm just a better safe than sorry kind of girl!
Should I lose the amount of weight I am shooting for and eliminate the need for waistline bulge worries and undergrow my extra large version, I will still not hesitate to purchase the regular size version to keep my waistline smooth and comfortable. No regrets on this purchase!
