Simply the best! Jul 18, 2011
By L. Mahauad Let me start by saying that I'm a curvy 5"5 145/150lbs. size 8/10. I like my body, but I'm always looking for ways to look slimmer (aside from diet and excercise). I love the legging trend, but on skinnier women. I have tried them on, either black or denim but my thighs look huge, and my hips wider than they actually are. I found these Hue flared denim leggings, and decided to give them a try. They are awesome!!!! They look more like jeans than leggings, aside from the waistband (which is elastic) the rest looks like real jeans. The fabric is not lycra (shiny eugh!) it's very soft denim, but very stretchy. They have double stitching, fake front pockets and real back pockets. The difference is that you have an elastic waistband and no button or zipper, which makes it lay flat on your stomach, so your tops look slimmer (no bulk). And the legs look lean and fit, and the butt is tight. Some leggings just cling to you, but these suck you in. And the flared leg is the best part! It's more like bootcut, straight fit. So it balances your hips, instead of the wider-hip look those skinny leggings give. I got them in size medium, cuz I wanted a slimmer fit, and they look WOW... although they feel soooo comfy. But if you are used to looser jeans/pants, maybe get them a size up. I got the darker blue style, and it's a great color, goes with all my tops. To sum up, if you're a curvy gal... this is your new best friend. And by the way.. I'm 30, married with no kids yet, so I don't wear mom jeans at all! ... Lol

Hue Legging Apr 06, 2011

I love the Hue Jeggings but have to wear boots because they are so tight and short at the ankle (my hips make me look silly when I where extreme skinny jeans and flat shoes, need the boots to balance it out), but I love the way they fit and make shirts look, no buckle and zipper = flatter front and sides. When I saw the `flared leggings' I figured it was a perfect compromise, have the soft stretch material without the skinny ankles.
The fit is the same, I wear a size 6 but have curves and a medium fits me perfect. I'm also surprised by how nice the length is. I don't know what will happen when I wash them (probably won't put in dryer) but I have enough length to wear kitten heels or small wedges not just flats or flip flops and I'm 5'6. That was a pleasant surprise. As for the cons, I got the darker wash because the light blue reminds me of the older jeans that my grandfather wore, sometimes the whiskers on the front can look funny (the ones I got didn't have any whiskers) and of course the material is cheap. I paid $35 so I'm not expecting 7 for Mankind or Joe's Jeans quality, but be aware the more you wash the more they'll wear out. The only other thing I'd like to point out is that they aren't flared. They are boot cut, and are much nicer sized then if they would be flared out, so if you're expecting flared jeans, just be aware that they are skinnier cut than what you're thinking. Other than that they are great for just hanging out or heading to the bookstore. I am happy they came out with a wider leg legging.

Comfy Chic Jul 11, 2011
By L. Friedman Hail Spandex: These jeggings, leggings, jeans, fit perfectly. I'm 5'6" and the length is perfect. I love the boot cut flair, makes them look like actual pants with a t-shirt over it. No visible lines under a tight shirt. The color looks like dark denim, has the jeans double stitching inside, working pockets in back, fake ones in the front. Very comfortable

Erratic sizing May 18, 2011
By C. Ruby I ordered these based on the other review (which was good), but I'd say the jeggings run small. I'm between a 6 and 8, and ordered a medium, but had to send them back for a large. If you wear the bigger of the two sizes, definitely order a size up! Also, I'm 5'4" - borderline petite - and they run pretty long, so be prepared to wear heels with them and/or get them hemmed if you are petite. Other than that, they look great, and I kinda dig the grandpa-y light blue (so true!), at least for spring/summer.

Fits amazingly well and looks like denim Jul 17, 2011
By Brigitte F. Tolson These pants look exactly like form fitting jeans with a flare. The material hugs curves perfectly, and there's no "muffin top" issue with these, as they stay in place on your hips and don't hug too tight.
As others have said, the sizes do run a bit small. I am not a fan of the look of the waist band (elastic ala grandpa jeans) so I sewed my pair so the elastic flat is folded down inside the pants.
My concern with these is that they would look odd, or like "Pajama Jeans", but they simply look like jeans that flare out while really hugging your back side. I have only washed mine twice thus far, so time will tell how durable the are.
