cute, but not on me May 03, 2011
By Skybrim This was my second try to find something besides a camisole to wear underneath clothes to achieve a little modesty. I am a 36D and chunky. I ordered a size large, and it fit fine (a tiny bit snug, but I think that's to be expected with a bandeau style). I cannot wear strapless dresses because I am too chunky and the top of the dresses don't lay flat. I had the same problem with this bandeau - it doesn't lay flat across the top close to the arms. This creates an unflattering (and somewhat bizarre)silhouette when clothes are put over it. This bandeau also has the unfortunate combination of creating uni-boob while not fully covering my decolletage, which is as unattractive as it sounds. The picture of the model makes it appear as though the decolletage is fully covered, but this was not my experience.
After trying this, my recommendation is to shop for these products in a store, find something that works well, and then come online to compare prices. Both of my online-only efforts yielded terrible results. This particular product might work for you if your dimensions more closely match the pictured model's. If you can wear strapless dresses without any problems, this may also be a good choice for you.

Maternity Picture MUST HAVE Jan 22, 2011
By PHAbulously FATAL I purchased this lace bandeau in black in a large for my maternity photo session with my husband then I paired it with some sexy black lace boy-shorts and it looked amazing! The top is SO comfortable, the padding is appropriately sewn inside the garment and it also has tons of support (believe it or not)! The side (underneath the arm) of the bandeau is sheer which is very flattering and an added bonus for those of us that are a bit modest.

Great purchase for the price May 16, 2011
By TTT I'm usually leery about purchasing clothing online when "free return" isn't involved, but I figured it couldn't hurt when it comes to a bandeau. I made the right choice! This inexpensive lace bandeaux is the perfect fit, and it's covered in lace, which makes it sexy! The only con I have is that it's a little complicated to attach, as it has 4 or 5 hooks that I have to put on from behind, so every time I attach one, the other detaches. It just takes a little practice. I would definitely recommend this product!

Great for the smaller bodied, durable. Nov 23, 2011
By Lyubov About 3 months ago I warily ordered a small, and was surprised by it's comfort & fit seeing as most bras end up being big for me due to my tiny build, 28inch ribs & a mid-B cup, in addition to breathing issues (two heavily padded sports bras I'd previously found could be near impossible to breath/walk in) it has taken me years to find a proper bra, in any form, but these certainly are lovely for me. However, as I said, I have mid-B breasts, which seemed to be over-flowing from the small size when I left in the padding, so when I ordered another I decided to go out on a limb & order two mediums as well. The mediums fit me wonderfully, the bras being just small enough to fit my ribs & the cups fitting on me much better, especially with the bit of additional height to the garment. Despite what other reviewers have said I can manage to get the bra to fit on me nearly like the picture . . . with straps (every bandeau I received have the four loops to hook in removable bra straps).
To the more average-sized people reading this review, the bras do stretch without compromising the garment (the entire back stretches comfortably & dosen't make the bra uncomfortably short), and I believe it's quite likely that the reviewer who found the sizes from another source has correct information. The back panel also has two sets of the hooks as most other bras seem to, in this case it is four vertical hooks, which I fit into place most morning from the back without issue, while in a rush 2-3 hooks in place seem to hold me just fine for the day. These have without a doubt survived the trial of time as well, the only tell-tale sign of age is that the removable cups that came with the bras have been molded by my breasts, which to me has only been an improvement. All of the lace has held up very well, both sizes haven't stretched-out at all (though I don't have to stretch them much at all).
Thank you for your time, I hope this helped you & honestly, they're cheap enough to order one to try on if you're not yet entirely convinced.

Just what I was looking for Nov 17, 2011
By D. Bass First of all, Amazon doesn't list the sizing chart, but I found it on another website:
Small = band size of 32" Medium = band size of 34" Large = band size of 36" X Large = band size of 38"
(I usually wear a 34B, and the medium fits me well and isn't too tight. My inexpert opinion is that it would also be fine for someone with C-cups, but might be a bit tight for anyone larger than that.)
Details: The bandeau has elastic on the top and bottom and two sets of hooks on the back. The hooks are great- they should keep the elastic from getting too stretched out, and having two rows adds some flexibility to the sizing.
The back panels are just lace, the front is lace over solid black. It has removable pads and places to attach bra straps (straps aren't included). It seems pretty secure even without adding straps, but it's nice to have the option, especially if you're worried about it shifting around or want more support. It's also nice that there is no clear center, so it'll look fine even if it moves a bit to the left or right.
Overall, I really like this piece. It's exactly what I needed for layering under low-cut dresses and tops, and it has a lot of convenient little details I haven't seen in similar items. I haven't had it very long, so I can't speak to the durability.
