This is the one. Dec 14, 2008
By J. Lynd

I bought this bra about 6 mos. ago, so I've lived in it for awhile. I've had quite a few nursing bras, as this is child #4, and this is one of my two very favorites. The other favorite, also an Anita, is #5041. I'm full chested and require underwire and firm support. This bra has some stretch, just enough to be comfortable, but not enough to let you sag at all. It's very supportive, very comfortable, the snap-style is easy to use when nursing, and this bra (I got black) is not grandma-ish. It helps the chest to stay toward the front, not out to the sides toward your arms (which I hate!). There is no front seam, so this is a great bra for fitted shirts. I can also say that while some bras' bands tend to stretch out rapidly, causing them not to fit properly, this one has not. There has been just the slightest loss of tightness in the band (almost imperceptible). The straps stretcha little for comfort, but do NOT cause support-performance loss, like some stretch straps can. To me, this bra is expensive, but it is soooo worth it. I would buy again & again. The only thing: the Anita 5041 has the reminder slide on the front to help you keep track of which side you nurse on and I wish it were on this bra. I can no longer wear the 5041 after losing my baby weight b/c they don't make it in my hard-to-find size - a 36H. It's so hard to find bras when you are thin but have a larger chest. Thanks Anita for making this bra!

Disappointing Dec 08, 2010
By Beth Holly I hated the idea of spending so much on a bra, but finally decided to pull the trigger because a good nursing bra can really improve the quality of you life, you know?
I was pretty disappointed in it when it arrived.
My problems
1) The material is super, super thin. This will not (sorry, TMI) hide your big ole nursing nipples, nor will is provide any back-up if you leak unexpectedly (later on) or forget a breast pad (in early days).
2) I searched high and low for a 36F. Hard to find. THIS ISN'T ONE. On the box it said, "Designed to fit size 36 C through G." Which is rediculous.
It was too expensive for me to keep with these problems so I sent it back. I was impressed with Amazon's return.

What I was looking for! Aug 03, 2009
By C. Meyer This is the perfect nursing bra for a person with a small frame and large breasts. I am a 32G and definitely need underwire support while breastfeeding. This bra provides excellent support while allowing me to look and feel sexy in whatever I choose to wear.
This bra is expensive (supportive bras in a 32g always are), but you only need 1 or 2. The microfiber dries quickly, so I hand wash before bed and it is dry in the morning.
Cup sizes ran small for me. I normally wear a 32G, but a 32H fit me better.

VERY thin cups Feb 24, 2011
By Sena LaPean I bought this nursing bra based on the good reviews it received, but I'm returning it. I feel that I must warn others about it. While I'm sure everything people say about the fit and such is true, the cups of this bra are VERY thin. I mean, literally no padding, only one thin layer of material. The whole bra is made out of spanx-like material, and the cups are no different. I didn't have it on long enough to comment on anything else because I know there's no way I'm going to wear something that's so thin. Nursing pads will show. Nipples will show (even without being just-nursed on, which makes them huge!). Be warned that the lightly lined cups means no lining, one layer of super thin material.

Fantastic bra for large breasted nursing moms Oct 11, 2009

After delivering I was measuring at a 34 H, which is a very difficult bra size to find. Not only did this bra fit my but it is so comfortable and give fantastic support. I own three now. It is totally worth the price. I spent hours searching for nursing bras in stores and online and have tried 10 different ones and this is the best. The band does run a bit big and I think the cups run a bit small. I ordered one band size down and that seemed to work well. I highly recommend this bra
Update: I'm now using this bra with baby number 2 and am still as happy with it as I was the first time. I have been machine washing it in a lingerie bag and it has held up well. Some of the elastic is beginning to show some wear but given the machine washing and the big boobs it is supporting, I'm very happy with how they have lasted. This bra feels the most "normal" of all my nursing bras. Some of the reviews commented that the fabric was too thin for them. This is one thing I like about this bra actually. It is supportive but doesn't add bulk and is similar to my normal bras in feel. I have not had the problems that others have with nipples and nursing pads showing through. I'm going to get another now that my boobs have gone down a size
